Waltrip High School's 50th Anniversary Celebration fundraising event held on October 15, 16 and 17, 2010 was a great success!  The response from alumni from the graduating classes starting in 1961 and going through 2010 was tremendous. During the celebration program on October 16th, the Waltrip Alumni Association was duly formed.
